What this is
cachalot by ONDA ANDAR.
The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes
to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no
release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording
as any particular release.
What we measured
In the 300 most recent public TikTok
videos we reviewed on 8 September 2026,
we counted 286 different accounts
and 73,644,200 combined views at the time we
looked.
These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a
single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Looks like a fit for: Anime editors and aesthetic creators
✓ Sync your cuts to the heavy bass hits
✓ Use a dark, high-contrast color grade
✓ Include text overlays that express a specific mood or thought
✓ Use the 'slowed + reverb' version for maximum impact
✗ Don't use bright, saturated colors; keep it moody
✗ Don't cut the audio before the first major drop
✗ Don't use generic, happy transitions
