What we measured

In the 119 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 16 August 2026, we counted 111 different accounts and 100,751,793 combined views at the time we looked.

Creative direction

Focus on high-impact visual syncs. Use the vocal hook to trigger a transition or a major highlight.
Looks like a fit for: Editors and high-effort content creators
✓ Sync the vocal hook 'I go back to black' with a major visual beat drop.
✓ Use high-quality, high-frame-rate footage for smooth slow-motion.
✓ Include a text overlay that adds context to the 'loss' or 'legacy' theme.
✓ Use fast-cut transitions to match the high energy of the drums.
✗ Don't use the sound past the 20s mark; the most viral clips cut before the outro.
✗ Don't use low-quality, pixelated footage; it kills the aesthetic vibe.
✗ Don't ignore the lyrics; the edit should feel emotionally connected to the song.
Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
