What this is

Dead Dog by TUYS.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 33 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 20 June 2026, we counted 12 different accounts and 594,729 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @bra1nooo, accounted for about 40.4% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Use the hook to time your biggest emotional transition.

Looks like a fit for: Anime editors and aesthetic slideshow creators

• Do: Sync the first beat drop to a character's eye-close or emotional reveal.
• Do: Use high-contrast filters to match the melancholic vibe.
• Do: Include a text overlay that captures a specific 'broken' feeling.
• Do: Keep the edit under 15 seconds for maximum loop potential.
• Avoid: Don't use bright, high-saturation filters; keep it moody.
• Avoid: Don't ignore the lyrics—the edit should tell a story of deception or loss.
• Avoid: Don't use the full 60s; focus on the most impactful 10-15s segment.
