What we measured

In the 300 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 2 September 2026, we counted 156 different accounts and 56,446,138 combined views at the time we looked.
These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction

Use the hook to transition between your favorite summer memories or a 'then vs now' moment.
Looks like a fit for: Gen Z aesthetic editors and lifestyle creators
✓ Sync the first beat drop to a transition between two locations
✓ Use a vintage or grainy filter to lean into the 2016 nostalgia
✓ Overlay text that captures a specific 'longing' or 'escapism' feeling
✓ Keep the video under 15 seconds for maximum loop potential
✗ Don't use high-definition, overly polished footage; keep it casual
✗ Don't ignore the vocal hook; it's the emotional anchor
✗ Don't use the sound for high-energy dance challenges; it kills the vibe
Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no claim about which will perform better.
