What this is
Medusa by Zak Azoury.
The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes
to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no
release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording
as any particular release.
What we measured
In the 78 most recent public TikTok
videos we reviewed on 20 August 2026,
we counted 70 different accounts
and 95,529 combined views at the time we
looked.
These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a
single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction
Use the 'frozen by your glance' lyric to trigger a transition or a slow-motion reveal.
Looks like a fit for: Anime editors and aesthetic lifestyle creators
✓ Sync the 'Medusa' lyric to a character's eye contact or a dramatic reveal.
✓ Use the 0:14-0:25 section for the main edit hook.
✓ Include a text overlay that captures the 'trance' or 'longing' mood.
✓ Use high-quality, cinematic clips for the visual background.
✗ Don't use the sound past the 30s mark; the hook is in the first half.
✗ Don't use low-quality, pixelated anime clips.
✗ Don't ignore the 'longing' mood of the lyrics by using overly aggressive or chaotic cuts.
Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no
claim about which will perform better.
