What this is
Megalomaniac by KMFDM.
The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes
to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no
release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording
as any particular release.
What we measured
In the 300 most recent public TikTok
videos we reviewed on 24 August 2026,
we counted 296 different accounts
and 120,267,276 combined views at the time we
looked.
These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a
single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

Creative direction
Focus on high-impact, beat-synced cuts that match the track's industrial energy.
Looks like a fit for: Anime editors, digital artists, and alternative fashion creators.
✓ Sync visual cuts to the vocal stabs
✓ Use high-contrast color grading
✓ Feature a 'villain' or 'power' character
✓ Include a text overlay with the character's name
✗ Don't use slow, soft transitions
✗ Don't ignore the beat drops
✗ Don't use the track for low-energy lifestyle vlogs
Suggestions our AI drew from the videos it reviewed. They are ideas, not rules, and we make no
claim about which will perform better.
