Paper Moon Static by Marnie Cusk.

The title and artist above are the ones TikTok stored for this sound, and the link goes to that sound on TikTok. We have not matched them to a music catalogue, so we publish no release date and no catalogue identifier, and we do not claim this is the same recording as any particular release.

What we measured

In the 225 most recent public TikTok videos we reviewed on 19 October 2026, we counted 224 different accounts and 24,246,857 combined views at the time we looked.

One account, @heyyitzgi, accounted for about 53.1% of the views in that sample, so the total is not spread evenly.

These figures describe that one dated sample, not the sound's total use. We do not know from a single sample whether use of this sound is rising or falling, and we do not say that it is.

• Do: Keep video duration under 15 seconds for higher loop rates
• Avoid: Don't use overly corporate or branded visuals
• Avoid: Don't let the audio lag behind your visual cuts
• Avoid: Don't skip adding a text hook on the screen
